• Local Support - Trust VFW Chester McKay in New Port Richey to care for Pasco County Veterans. We provide services and assistance at no cost through donations.

• Dedicated Team - Our Veterans deserve the very best . Our staff is made up entirely of volunteer Veterans and family members of Veterans who are passionate about what they do, always striving to do their best for every Veteran in need we come across.

• Veterans Affairs (VA) Support - VFW Chester McKay is committed to helping Veterans obain the benfits they're entitled to for service to our country.  We have a dedicated Post Service Officer to assist Veterans filing for benefits. 

• Financial Assistance - VFW Chester McKay provides financial relief for Veterans struggling financially who cannot afford the necessities like food, water and utilities. 

• Community Service & Outreach - VFW Chester McKay supports food and clothing drives and distribution for at-risk Veterans. Our volunteers are routinely contacted to visit local health care and nursing home facilities to provide comfort and a familiar face for Veterans without local family. We've provided free hair cuts at the post for homeless vets. We've repaired homes and provided much needed handyman services. 

• Activities & Socialization - VFW Chester McKay hosts regular events for Veterans to socialize and participate in activities, such as special gatherings at the post on Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Patriot's Day and Independance Day to name a few. Providing a sense of community and opportuntity for new friendships to form.  We believe No Veteran should have to be alone during the Holidays.
